This chess board is crafted out of maple (white) and cherry (brown) wood. It measures 16.25in long x 16.25in wide x 0.75in thick. It has been sanded smooth and finished with an oil-based wood sealer. Although it is face-grain, the wood sealer and the hardness of the woods ensure that it has maximum durability. Does not include chess pieces or the table, only the board itself.
